Welcome to BellaVista
Our holiday home is located close to the center of Zafferana Etnea, offering the perfect base to explore the area.
With its strategic location, BellaVista is just a short distance from Mount Etna, the lively city of Catania, and the beautiful beaches of Giardini Naxos and Taormina.
The house features two bedrooms, each with a double bed, making it ideal for a group of four people. If needed, the space can accommodate up to six guests, thanks to two single beds in the living room. The living room is furnished with a dining table, TV, and a cozy couch, and it opens up to a spacious 60m² terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a delicious homemade meal. The bathroom includes a hot water shower for your comfort.
Designed in an authentic Sicilian style, the house—especially the kitchen with its cheerful orange-themed details—reflects the charm of the region.
What truly makes BellaVista unique is its large terrace, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the Italian mainland on one side, and the peak of Mount Etna on the other.
This holiday home is perfect for families, couples, and friends looking for a peaceful getaway. It’s ideal for those who want to escape the tourist crowds and experience life like a local.
The apartment is situated on a quiet street, where you can park your car for free.
Please note: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the apartment.
Ash of the eruptions
One of the unique aspects of this part of Sicily is the presence of Mount Etna’s ash after a major eruption. As seen in the photo above, the main square of Zafferana Etnea can sometimes be covered in a layer of volcanic ash. It even finds its way onto our terrace from time to time—but don’t worry, we always make sure it's spotless for our guests!
Skiing on Etna
If you visit Sicily in winter, you might have the chance to ski on Mount Etna—a truly unique experience! Imagine skiing on an active volcano with breathtaking views of the sea in the distance. The ski lifts are just 30 km from BellaVista, and we’re happy to assist you with renting equipment, purchasing ski passes, and more to make your adventure seamless and unforgettable.
